Taking into consideration the complicated situation being experienced by playwriting in our country, this season the Sala Beckett has awarded various grants for playwriting. We are now presenting the result of four of these grants within the context of the Obrador d’estiu in staged reading format.

Synopsis

Summer 2020. Lola and Berta have decided that the best they can do is to buy themselves a plastic swimming pool that’s too big and put it in a place where they can’t put it. They’ve decided they don’t want to say anything else, that nothing matters, they’ve decided to stretch out by the pool and drink mojitos.

They prefer the Women Truth Spies to do the dirty work. They’re the ones who should save the world. They should stir things up and speak for a whole generation. Them.

And then, when they realise there is nothing to be done, they should do whatever they like.
