Synopsis

The Independent Living Office advises and accompanies people with functional diversity in their development as autonomous and independent agents in their personal, social, educational and working life alike.

Amanda enters the Office in search of information, because her mother has suffered an accident and has to live the rest of her days in a wheelchair. She only needs for them to tell her how to apply for the dependency benefit which sounds as though it never arrives and, if they have it, the telephone number of a pay-by-the-hour home help (better without a contract) to take care of her mother. She can’t, she has a job, a life, and these types of things.
