This year’s edition of Barcelona’s Grec Festival set its sights on Latin America and, despite the inclemency of COVID-19, which prevented travelling and transoceanic trips, from the Beckett we will look to contribute all the same to this knowledge, through the possibilities offered to us by network communications technologies. It is for this reason that we are proposed a series of in-depth conversations with some Latin-American creators, selected precisely because of their link with what the Grec 2020 should have been. We are doing it hand in hand with some specialised journalists who will enable us a rigorous approach to each of the figures involved.
The conversation on Tuesday 14 July is between playwright Conchi León and cultural journalist Clàudia Brufau.
Conchi León
Playwright, director, teacher and actress in theatre, film, and television. She has a diploma in Literature, Protocol and Journalism, in Directing Children’s Theatre and in Playwriting. This activity forms part of Open Grec within the framework of the Grec 2020 Festival of Barcelona.
