Course description

One of the most international of Catalan theatre directors proposes a workshop for professional actors interested in the training, research and perfecting of a stage truth based on Chekhov’s The Seagull.

Workshop aimed at actresses and actors interested in training, research and perfecting of a scenic truth in text-based theatre.

Through scenes from Chekhov’s The Seagull, we will be pursuing how to find this investigation of scenic (not reality) truth with a minimum of game rules.

The acting utopia as the goal: how to give continuity to the scenic truth of the actor in performance number 100. Or at the very least, a subjective analysis of what is shown, with no holds barred.
