This is where the damn title of the workshop should go

We have slightly somewhat stolen the title from the artist David Fernández, who untitled one of his plays with the magnificent Aquí iría el jodido título de la obra (This is where the damn title of the play should go). Therefore, this workshop without a title is born with the idea of taking a closer look at everything that captivates us to jump into the playing field with a parachute woven from references of all kinds.
Based on playing as the central element in the performance, it will be a case of, initially, delving into the cinematographic genres that move us: terror, romcom and sci-fi, among others. We want the constructing of stereotypes to be a first step from which we will begin a process of deconstruction that enables us to enter into contact with devices typical of the contemporary theatre scene: dissociating, abstracting, composing plastically, constructing atmospheres, establishing new game rules and then immediately blowing them up. And questioning, lots of questioning.
In this sense, we propose to journey into a process of experimentation of the limits between the tasks of acting and those that belong to the role of performer. Allowing the mask of the character to fall so that our own appears, thus summoning the creative facet of each one of us.

Actor and musician, he has worked from a very young age in theatre, with directors such as Calixto Bieito, Josep Maria Pou, Carme Portaceli and Magda Puyo, among many others. He has also participated in the television series Ventdelplà (TV3) and Cuéntame (TVE).
In his musical facet, Albet is a composer and plays several instruments, prominently including piano, keyboards, guitar and bass, and he has been singer and bass-player in the group Bumpie Band.
He has participated in films such as El diario de Carlota, Cruzando el límite and Tres metros sobre el cielo, and in series such as Cuore, Pulseras rojas, Citas, Sé quién eres, Tiempos de guerra and Matar al padre. In 2017 he starred in the film Incierta Gloria, directed by Agustí Villalonga.
Nao Albet and Marcel Borràs have written and directed, among others, Democracia (Butaca Award for the best theatre text, 2010), HAMLE. T.3., Mammon (Crítica Award, 2015) and Atraco, paliza y muerte en Agbanäspach, in which they also participated as actors. In 2016 they obtained the RNE Ojo Crítico award for theatre.
Admission to the course will be based on order of arrival and CV assessment, which should be sent (with photograph included), filling in the form on the right.
Places on courses are limited. Places will be reserved once the course amount has been paid. Payment must be made within one week of receiving the corresponding acceptance email.
The dates indicated for each course or seminar may be subject to variations in exceptional circumstances. These will be notified when applicable.
For the course to take place, a minimum number of students must be registered. If this number is not reached, the course will be cancelled and the student will have the option of registering for a different course (providing that there are places available) or alternatively will receive a refund of the amount paid (100%). If a student withdraws, a refund of 75% of the registration fee will be applicable, providing that written notice is given at least 10 days before the start of the course.
