Once again, the resident author of the season premieres her project for the Beckett as part of the GREC Festival in Barcelona. This year, Daniela Feixas offers us a thriller that takes us to a high mountain village where a rural agent has just arrived who will have to solve enigmatic animal deaths and dark disappearances.
Synopsis
Judit, a rural agent recently assigned to a high mountain village, receives a strange call from a resident, Ton. Ton’s daughter’s cat has disappeared. The animal was a gift from the girl’s half-brother, Alex, for her last birthday and Ton, strangely affected by the cat’s disappearance, asks the agent to help him find it. She will get very involved in the search for the lost animal. Little by little, she will discover the burden of superstition and the unspeakable facts that are hidden under the apparent everyday life of the inhabitants of a village that is much easier to enter than to escape.
Daniela Feixas is resident author of the Sala Beckett for the 23-24 season.
