Asli Ekici

Asli Ekici was born in Izmir, Turkey, in 1998, and she is currently living in Istanbul. She has been interested in theatre since she was young. Graduated in Psychology, she did her master’s degree in dramatic writing at Istanbul Kadir Has University and she is currently writing a thesis about being a writer in devise theatre. She is the co-founder, writer and director of the theatre collective Reka Kolektif, which was formed two years ago. Its devise theatre production Aşalım Bunları is actively playing on stages in Istanbul. A play for adults published within the scope of the play writing programme and a play for children are currently in rehearsal at Nilüfer Municipality City Theatre.
