Graduate in Playwriting and Theatre Sciences from the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Madrid, Blanca Doménech’s most notable dramatic creations include: Vagamundos (Calderón de la Barca Award 2009. Ed. CDT), La musa (AAT Award 2013. Ed. AAT), Punto muerto (Acotaciones No. 28 and Primer Acto No. 343), Boomerang (Centro Dramático Nacional No. 19), El mal de la piedra / The Sickness of the Stone (Honourable Mention at the Certamen Internacional de Literatura del Gobierno de México. Ed. FOEM, Asymptote and Oberon Books), Brain (Iberescena) and Hydra (Pygmalion).

Her staged plays include Punto muerto / Dead Point (Theatre Uncut 2012), at the Young Vic Theatre in London, Matadero, Teatro Español, FIT and Cuarta Pared in Madrid and Sala Beckett, among other places in the world; Boomerang, at the Centro Dramático Nacional and at the Moscow Art Theatre; Páginas para un sujeto, at the Centro Dramático Nacional; Brain, at the IATI Theatre in New York; Silver Factory, at the Cherry Lane Theater in New York; El mal de la piedra / The Sickness of Stone, at King’s College London, Access Theater in New York, Sala Berlanga in Madrid, Teatro el Extranjero in Buenos Aires, Sala Mirador in Madrid and Lenfest Center for the Arts in New York; Vagamundos, at the CELCIT in Buenos Aires; Hydra, at the Centro Dramático Nacional, and Terra Firma, commissioned by The Guardian and Headlong Theatre in London.
