Diego Lois Petit

Diego Lois Petit is a Uruguayan actor, playwright, and director. He began his artistic career in 2012 at the Uruguayan Carnaval, the country’s most popular form of musical theatre, writing and directing for different shows. He trained professionally at the Instituto de Actuación de Montevideo from 2018 to 2022, the year in which he took part in the playwriting for the undergraduate show. In 2023, he worked as an intern actor at the Comedia Nacional in four different shows. In 2022 he premiered his first play titled La Noticia late night show, which has been on the bill for three very successful seasons, and in 2023 he premiered his second play, Hippies sexomaníacos politóxicos y su vínculo con los extraterrestres. He is currently studying a Technical Degree in Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad de la República.
