Emiliano Pastor

(Barcelona, 1985)

Emiliano Pastor writes and directs film and theatre. In 2008 he directed the play Árbol de Diana at Hangar (Barcelona). He co-directed three medium-length films with Ibai Abad, and in 2011 he wrote and directed his first full-length film, Los Cipreses, shot in Buenos Aires.

He has been awarded, among others, the Calderón de la Barca 2008 Prize for Que no quedi ni un sol adolescent dempeus, semi-staged at the Festival de Escenas in November; the first Marqués de Bradomín Prize for Ríanse del hipopótamo, staged by Javier H. Simón in Madrid and semi-staged by Llàtzer García at the Nau Ivanow; the Les Telúries Prize for Mercedes-Benz segons els ocells, semi-staged by Jordi Casanovas at the Sala Beckett; runner-up for the Marqués de Bradomín Prize for El jardinero de la N-II; and the Teatre Principal de Mallorca 2005 Prize for a play written by four playwrights, Allà on s’estimen els peixos.
