He is the author of 46 plays, including: Una vella, Coneguda olor, Berenàveu a les fosques, La desaparició de Wendy, Revolta de bruixes, Descripció d’un paisatge, El manuscript d’Ali Bei, Desig; Fugaç, E.R, Testament, El gos del tinent, Olors, L’habitació del nen, Salamandra and Soterrani premiered in 2008 at the Sala Beckett. Considered one of the most important playwrights in our country, he has received, among many other awards, the Premi Nacional d’Arts Escèniques (Generalitat de Catalunya) and the Premio Nacional de Literatura Dramática (Ministerio de Cultura). His work has been translated, published and/or premiered in several languages throughout Europe.
