Laura Verazzi

With a kaleidoscopic profile, Laura Verazzi is a playwright, communicator, teacher, designer and (sometimes) actress.

Her play Malparida was premiered in 2022 and reprogrammed in May 2023 at the Sala Badabadoc. She was a member of the Laboratorio teatral de Escritura en Vivo with residency at the Sala Beckett. There she was the originating point of the universe of fiction that the team, through collective creation, ultimately developed: Frontera (2020). She has participated as creator and actress in the staging of Ojo (2021). She has participated as “scriptwriter” live in IT-Movies at the Sala Beckett (2021). She directed the No Musas live writing and piano performance for the 8M event of 2021, within a cycle of classical music at the European Modern Art Museum, in Barcelona.

She has published three specialised books on Internal Communication: Guía Fundamental de la Comunicación Interna (2018), Comunicación Interna Total (2020) and Comunicación Interna de Pandemia (2021). At the age of just 17, she won the second prize at the II Philosophical Essay Competition organised by the Universidad de San Martín, Argentina, for the work Crear para mostrar o el creador comprometido.

She has trained as a designer at the Universidad de Buenos Aires, in communicational design theory at the same institution, in knowledge management at the UOC, in acting at El Timbal and as a playwright at the Sala Beckett and at the Centro Latinoamericano de Creación e Investigación Teatral (CELCIT), with such renowned teachers as María Velasco, Marilia Samper, Ignacio Apolo, Marc Angelet and Ariel Barchilón.
