Lluís Hansen

(Barcelona, 1961)

Holds a higher degree in Economics and Politics from the Universitat de Barcelona (1984) and in Directing and Scriptwriting from the Institut del Teatre (1999), where he obtained the extraordinary prize in Dramatic Art.

Today he teaches dramaturgy and writing at the Institut del Teatre, where he has held several different academic posts. He complements this with teaching at the Col·legi de Teatre de Barcelona.

He was a member of the Teatre Lliure’s Advisory Council during the Josep Montanyès era (2001-2002).

In the field of writing and dramaturgy, he has written Amor, prozac i dubtes (2001), Fashion Feeling Music, (1999), No passareu (2003), Necessinat (1999), Ecosistema (1998) and Christophe (1997, Premi Josep Ametller de Teatre). He has from French works by Anouilh, Koltès, Ionesco and Cormann.
In the stage directing sphere he has directed some of his own works, musicals and circus shows.
