Marit Røste

Marit Røste (32) is a Norwegian actress and playwright. She has written three one-act plays: LOTTO (2017), Farewell (2018) and, most recently, the dark comedy Trulte Turns Thirty (2019). She is currently working on a one-act play about her struggles with obesity and eating disorders, Cockroach. The play is being developed with dramaturg-assistance from The Norwegian Centre for New Playwriting, grants from The Arts Council of Norway and The Fritt ord Foundation.

She is a member of the Norwegian Actors Equity Association and the Writers Guild of Norway.
