Salvador S. Sánchez

(Jerez de la Frontera, 1985)

Graduate in Playwriting and Direction from the Institut del Teatre and in Audiovisual Communication from the UAB. He is a founding member of the Cia Casa Real and La Copla de Wisconsin. For the Cia Casa Real he wrote and directed Dante 56: Pell i ciment, Ven a Fraguel Rock (Tantarantana 2017/2018) and 17 maneras simpáticas de acabar con el capitalismo (Cuarta Pared 2017). For La Copla de Wisconsin he wrote and directed There Was a Fiesta! (At Carnegie Hall) (Tantarantana 2016/2017), wrote the libretto of The Century’s: un viatge intergalàctic al planeta del jazz (Tantarantana 2019) and the dramaturgy of El mal del jazz: quan Barcelona era hot (El Maldà 2020). He wrote Fòbia, a piece of Més enllà de la foscor (Sala Beckett 2012), the dramaturgy and direction of D’anada, de tornada (Espai Brossa 2014) and El Comte Arnau (Fira Mediterrània 2015, Mostra d’Igualada 2016). He is one of the writers for the travelling show La noche sin tiempo (La Maldita Vanidad in Bogotá 2019, Tantarantana 2020) and one of the creators and presenters of the theatre events Assajar és de covards.
