Tommaso Fermariello

Tommaso Fermariello was born in 1994 in Tradate, a small town near Milan. After studying as an actor, in 2019 he won the Premio Riccione-Tondelli, the most important award for Italian playwrights under 30 years old, with his play Fantasmi.
Since 2020 he has been working with the Italian theatre Teatro Stabile del Veneto, for which he wrote several plays: the trilogy Abitare lo specchio, R+G, Amleto. Tutto ciò che vive and the video project Falene. He collaborated with Piccolo Teatro di Milano for the podcast and video project Abbecedario per il mondo nuovo and Italian Stories.

His last two plays (Anna and L’ultima donna sulla terra) both got a special mention at the playwriting award Premio Hystrio in 2021 and 2023.
