William Lippert

I work as a freelance playwright, both independently and in the queer collective Dulce. Moreover, I’m a member of the artistic leadership of The House of Playwrights, an organisation that promotes playwrights and playwriting in Denmark.

With my writing I explore the ways we tell stories — to each other and to ourselves. Fiction or not: in my view, how we tell a story is mostly more telling than the story itself. I’m interested in how storytelling affects us and the way we perceive our surroundings and how narration and dramaturgy can open up new and different perspectives.
