Fabulamundi Playwriting Europe – New Voices

With the support of the EC programme Creative Europe, Fabulamundi Playwriting Europe is a project for cooperation between theatres, festivals and organisations from different European countries. The current edition of the project, with bears the name New Voices, will have a duration of three years (2023-2025), and its goal is to bring contemporary playwriting to the younger generations. Through workshops, meetings with experts and exhibitions, always with young people at the centre of the process, Fabulamundi aims to bring teenagers closer to creative writing, while reinforcing the international community of playwrights created in the previous editions.

The two Catalan authors who will take part in this edition of the project (out of a total of 19 participants) are Oriol Morales i Pujolar and Helena Tornero.

The 9 countries and organisations taking part in the current Fabulamundi edition are:

-Austria: Wiener Wortstaetten

-Belgium: Culture Action Europe

-Spain: Sala Beckett/Obrador Internacional de Dramatúrgia

-France: Théâtre Ouvert and La Mousson d’été

-Italy: PAV (project leader) and Associazione culturale Area06

-Czech Republic: Divadlo Letì

-Romania: Teatrul Odeon and Universitatea de Arte Târgu-Mureș

-Serbia: Heartefact Fund
