Projecte Extended Universe 2018-2020
Extended Universe is an international project for creative stage productions with a duration of two years (2018-2020) which aims to promote the use of new technologies in theatre creation and the involvement of young people aged between 15 and 25 years in stage practice.
The project is formed by 4 European theatres:
- Boundless Theatre, project leader (United Kingdom)– https://boundlesstheatre.org.uk/
- Teater Grob (Denmark)– https://www.grob.dk/
- Entropia (Greece)– http://theatre-entropia.gr/
- Sala Beckett (Catalonia)– www.salabeckett.cat
During the 2018-2019 season, a playwright from each country will write a play for theatre (based on the ideas of Power, Utopia and Youth Culture) aimed mainly at an adolescent audience that, subsequently, in the month of May 2020, will be taken to the stage in the respective country and can be seen through the use of new technologies.
The Catalan creator participating in the project is Oriol Puig, who will be taking Karaoke Elusia to the stage in the month of December.
