Hassan Abdulrazzak

Hassan Abdulrazzak es de origen iraquí, nacido en Praga y residente en Londres. Sus obras incluyen The Special Relationship (Soho Theatre, 2020), And Here I Am (Arcola Theatre, 2017 y gira), Love, Bombs and Apples (Arcola Theatre, 2016 y gira por Reino Unido; Golden Thread, San Francisco, 2018 seguido de una segunda gira por Reino Unido; Kennedy Centre, Washington DC, 2019), The Prophet (Gate Theatre, 2012) y Bagdad Wedding (Soho Theatre, Londres 2007; BBC Radio 3, 2008; Belvoir St Theatre, Sydney 2009; Akvarious productions, Delhi & Mumbai 2010).

Hassan ha trabajado con The Freedom Theatre y el Colectivo Ma’louba. Ha traducido numerosas obras del árabe al inglés para dramaturgos como Jawad Al-Assadi, Hanane Hajjali, Mudar Alhaggi, Abdullah Alkafri y Wael Qadour.

Ha sido galardonado con los premios de teatro Pearson George Devine, Meyer-Whitworth y Arab British Centre Award for Culture.
