debbie tucker green és dramaturga, guionista i directora.

Entre les seves obres, destaquen a profoundly affectionate, passionate devotion to someone (-noun) (Royal Court Theatre, 2017); hang (Royal Court, 2015); nut (National Theatre, 2013); truth and reconciliation (Royal Court, 2011); random (Royal Court, 2008); generations (Young Vic, 2007); stoning mary (Royal Court, 2005); trade (RSC, 2005); born bad (Hampstead Theatre, 2003; Premi Olivier a la debutant més prometedora), i dirty butterfly (Soho Theatre, 2003).

Ha escrit i dirigit la pel·lícula Second Coming (BFI/Film 4, 2014; Premi a l’International Film Festival de Rotterdam) i ha convertit la seva obra random en una tv movie per a Channel 4 (BAFTA a millor drama el 2012 i premi a millor film britànic al Black International Film/MVSA).

Per la ràdio ha escrit lament (primer premi als Premis de la ràdio britànica Arias), gone, random, handprint i freefall.

El 2015 va rebre una de les beques Windham Campbell.
