Hassan Abdulrazzak

Hassan Abdulrazzak és d’origen iraquià, nascut a Praga i resident a Londres. Les seves obres inclouen The Special Relationship (Soho Theatre, 2020), And Here I Am (Arcola Theatre, 2017 i gira), Love, Bombs and Apples (Arcola Theatre, 2016 i gira pel Regne Unit; Golden Thread, San Francisco, 2018 seguit d’una segona gira pel Regne Unit; Kennedy Centre, Washington DC, 2019), The Prophet (Gate Theatre, 2012) i Bagdad Wedding (Soho Theatre, Londres 2007; BBC Radio 3, 2008; Belvoir St Theatre, Sydney 2009; Akvarious productions, Delhi & Mumbai 2010).

Hassan ha treballat amb The Freedom Theatre i el Col·lectiu Ma’louba. Ha traduït nombroses obres de l’àrab a l’anglès per a dramaturgs com Jawad Al-Assadi, Hanane Hajjali, Mudar Alhaggi, Abdullah Alkafri i Wael Qadour.

Ha estat guardonat amb els premis de teatre Pearson George Devine, Meyer-Whitworth i Arab British Centre Award for Culture.
